I read a lot of crime who done it type novels as well as watch crime and medical type shows to try to figure out what happened before either the end of the book or the show.
With all the evidence provided, I usually can figure it all out; but when it comes to playing clue with my family – I suck.
I never win the game.
What’s with that?
A while back we went out with friends for dinner. As we waited to be seated I found myself having to use the restaurants public restroom/bathroom – which ever you call it.
After taking care of my business, I proceeded to wash my hand as usual to find the soap dispenser was one of those units which detected me by motion, as well as the towel dispenser when I needed to dry my hands. How nice I don’t have to touch stuff that others have. I can’t help but think about all the germs because not everyone washes their hands after using the bathroom.
I’m not spreading germs cuz I washed my hand but that’s not to say everyone else did the same.
So what good is all the motion detection devices to help stop spreading germs, if it’s not used by all.

About a month ago my 7-year-old computer died, never to turn on again.
I never thought I would really miss it, until I realized I was paying several of my bills on line saving a bit of paper as well as checking my banking between statements. Plus I had the urge to vent for Venting Volcano and wanted to do some research for a new critter I just saw on National Geographic for Kritter Korner.
Gee, can’t do it when my computer won’t even turn on. Ah…..the wonder of the internet, a vast world of knowledge beyond that of my old outdated encyclopedias. Not to mention spell check/grammar corrections with Microsoft word. What can I say grammar wasn’t my strongest class, that’s why I have an editor. Ha!
Computers are great while they are working but once they’re not……frustrating.
