I can’t help but wonder living here, in a town that needs to survive on the business brought here by the tourists, why do all the prices go up during what they call “the season”?
During the so called “off season” the prices are lower to attract people.
Wouldn’t it be more logical to keep the prices lower to attract the people/tourist all year and not just during the season!
Seems to me it would make more sense to make money all year instead of just part of it.
What’s with that?
With the warmer weather and the thoughts of grilling some brats, I purchased a case of beer. You know, have a few friends over and just kick back. After coming home and putting the beer in the fridge I noticed printed on the case was the chance to win a Harley-Davison Motorcycle. It said no purchase necessary, see inside of carton to get a code for a chance to win.
Now this gets one to wondering…it did say no purchase necessary, but I needed to look inside the carton for a code. I wouldn’t have this necessary code to enter if I didn’t buy the beer in the first place after all it was inside the carton!
So how can this be no purchase necessary?
